Basmati Rice


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup basmati rice

  • Water for soaking

  • Water for cooking

  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  • Rinsing and Soaking:

    • Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

    • Soak the rice in water for about 30 minutes.

  • Cooking:

    • In a pot, bring water to a boil.

    • Drain the soaked rice and add it to the boiling water.

    • Add salt and cook until the rice is tender but still firm.

    • Drain any excess water.
