Dals (Lentils and Beans)

Dals, lentils and beans are India’s comfort food. They taste delicious, and are packed with nourishing goodness.

India is home to a vast array of lentils and beans, ranging from yellow lentils (moong dal) and red lentils (masoor dal) to black gram (urad dal) and chickpeas (chana). Each variety has its own amazing taste and texture.

Dals, lentils, and beans are excellent sources of protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals. They are a staple in vegetarian and vegan diets, providing essential nutrients for a balanced meal.
